under Wychwood. Recently completely refurbished, the Inn retains
the original character of this lovely old building.
We serve tasty, home-cooked food all day
and a wide range of drinks. There are comfortable bedrooms
upstairs, offering bed and breakfast accommodation, and a
large cottage garden for outside dining, with a separate children’s
play area and a court for playing the traditional Oxfordshire
pub game of Aunt Sally. In our indoor games room you will
find a pool table, darts and regular entertainment, such as
Quiz Nights.
Shipton under Wychwood is on the Oxfordshire Way and superbly
located for exploring the Cotswolds – under one hour’s
drive from Cheltenham, Stratford on Avon, Banbury, Oxford,
Cirencester and under ten miles to Chipping Norton, Witney,
Burford and Stow on the Wold. The perfect place in fact for
a short break.
